PopUp Bagels Is Coming to Charlotte — Here’s What to Expect

Charlotte foodies, get ready — PopUp Bagels, the cult-favorite bagel brand known for its fresh-baked bagels and inventive schmears, is officially opening its first North Carolina location in Ballantyne on Friday, October 17th at The Bowl at Ballantyne.

This isn’t your typical bagel shop. Instead of slicing bagels for sandwiches, PopUp Bagels is all about grabbing one fresh from the oven, ripping it apart, and dipping it into their rotating schmears. The concept has already earned a following in Connecticut, New York City, and beyond — and now Charlotte gets to join the party.

What to Expect

• Rotating schmear flavors — think caramel apple cream cheese, maple butter, and the crowd-favorite scallion cream cheese.

PopUp Bagels also partners with fun brands like Nabisco, Sun-Maid, and Grillo’s Pickles to create unique schmear flavors. With over 100 different schmears a year, there’s always something new to try.
