Charlotte’s entertainment scene is turning up the volume — and it’s not just about great music. Big-name concerts, growing venues, and packed events are just another sign that the Queen City continues to thrive as one of the Southeast’s most exciting places to live.

Within minutes of each other, two Rock & Roll Hall of Fame legends — Sting and AC/DC
— announced they’re headed to Charlotte in 2026, adding to an already incredible year for live music.

⚡ AC/DC at Bank of America Stadium

The iconic rock band AC/DC will bring their “POWER UP” tour to Bank of America Stadium on Saturday, July 11, 2026 — marking their first Charlotte performance in nearly 17 years.

Fans can expect the full experience: high-energy hits like “Back in Black,” “Thunderstruck,” and “For Those About to Rock (We Salute You).”

🎟️ Tickets go on sale Friday, November 7th at 10 a.m., and with no presale announced, this one’s sure to sell fast.

🎤 Sting at PNC Music Pavilion

Before AC/DC takes the stage, Sting will bring his “STING 3.0” North American Tour to PNC Music Pavilion on Monday, May 18, 2026.

It’s been nearly 18 years since Sting last performed in Charlotte — and while he won’t be joined by The Police, fans can still look forward to classics like “Roxanne,” “Message in a Bottle,” “Desert Rose,” and “Fragile.”

🎟️ Fan club presale begins Tuesday at 10 a.m. at sting.com, with general ticket sales opening Friday at 10 a.m.

🎶 Charlotte’s Music Scene — and Market — Are Both on the Rise

It’s not just 2026 that’s looking good — 2025 has already seen a major lineup of artists stopping through the Queen City, including:

  • Tate McRae at Spectrum Center in October
  • Jonas Brothers for their “JONAS20” anniversary tour in November
  • Chris Stapleton, Noah Kahan, and Zach Bryan, all of whom packed Charlotte venues earlier this year

Between PNC Music Pavilion, the Spectrum Center, and Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte’s becoming a must-stop for the biggest tours in the world — and that kind of energy spills over into our neighborhoods, restaurants, and local businesses.

What That Means for Charlotte Living

As Charlotte continues to grow, so does the lifestyle that comes with it. From world-class concerts and pro sports to dining, greenways, and neighborhoods full of character — it’s no surprise that more people are choosing to call this city home.

Whether you want to live close to the action in South End, near the peaceful charm of Matthews, or by the lakeside in Huntersville, Charlotte offers something for every lifestyle — and events like these remind us just how vibrant our community really is.

At The Jay White Team, we love celebrating all things local — from the best places to live, work, and eat, to the unforgettable experiences that make Charlotte such a great place to call home.
